About the library
Founded in 1999, the library is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Myers. The library offers a core reference book and journal collection, conference facilities, and librarian services to the professional staff of the Department of Radiation Medicine. Members of the department are encouraged to contact the librarian for assistance in accessing information resources. Services include:
- Instruction in the use of electronic information resources
- Literature searches
- EndNote consultation
- Document delivery
- Collection development
The library is located in Room 071 of the James. Authorized users have access to the library 24 hours per day. Materials are used on a self-serve basis. The librarian is in the department on Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and can be reached at all other times via e-mail.

- Medline: The premier index to biomedical literature; the Medline database is available through three interfaces, PubMed, Ovid Medline, and OhioLINK Medline. All three offer direct access to OSU and OhioLINK electronic journals.
- CINAHL: Index to nursing and allied health literature; provides direct access to OSU and OhioLINK electronic journals.
- Science Citation Index: Part of ISI's Web of Science; conduct a general search, or search for articles that cite an author or a specific work; provides direct access to OSU and OhioLINK electronic journals.
- INSPEC Provides access to the world's leading scientific and technical literature in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, communications, control engineering, computers and computing and information technology. Links to OSU and OhioLINK electronic journals.
